We were excited to welcome Joanne Hickman Dodd, the Co-Founder of Women Investment Professionals (WIP) to our office recently. She shared with us her story and how important WIP’s mission is to advocate for the advancement of women in the investment industry, and we couldn’t agree more. We learned a lot from Joanne and would like to thank her for her resources and time.
WIP is a Chicago based non-profit organization that was established in 1996. WIP provides their members with resources and a great place to network, including a directory of 300+ professionals in the Chicago area. The organization’s mission is to “enhance woman’s opportunities and growth in the investment industry”. WIP accomplishes this by holding events, committee involvement and volunteer opportunities.
